bread from bread machine was doughy in middle, what did I do wrong?

I have used my bread machine many times before and have never had the problem of the bread turning out doughy in the middle, before today that is. What did I do wrong and what can I do to avoid it in the future?

Well, it could be a number of things. One, you may have put too much yeast in- this causes the bread to become larger and take more time to cook. Two, the heat that the machine is using to cook the dough may not be high enough. (check that the element is working) And three, you may have let the dough prove for too long. Best thing I can suggest is to go back, look at those other times you used it and see what you did differently this time.
