My breadmaker’s paddle sticks in the bread when I pull it out. Is there anyway this can be fixed?

The breadmaker is a Mr. Coffee BR2somethingsomething and I got it used from a friend who was moving. I actually have to cut out the paddle after the bread is done… it makes the bottom all untidy and I’d really like to know how to fix it.

Best reply by JonBandit:

try cooking spray

I have the same problem with my bread machine, it’s the Breadman Ultimate. The only way I have found to correct it is to remove the paddle after the last kneed cycle and let it rise and bake with out the paddle in the pan. I’ve tried coating the paddle with cooking spray but it didn’t work.

Try some cooking spray. I have the same problem, but I don’t mind trimming it out after the bread is done.

We have an old Black & Decker bread machine. We have always accepted that paddle hole as a given in bread machine breads.
